Logan Goes to the Tech Summit

On June 21, 2019 Logan Philipps attended The Ohio State University Nisonger Center's Tech Summit.


From tablet and phone apps to in-home remote support systems, this one-day event offered attendees a chance to learn about different kinds of technology available to support people with developmental disabilities who want more independence in their lives.

Logan is testing out a device that allows individuals who are visually impaired to see the world like they've never seen it before! It works for people with different eye conditions like macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Tech Summit participants shared how best to incorporate tech in their areas of the state and shared resources, like those available through Disability Cocoon.
